Voices of Support
“I have had nothing but amazing support and help from the moment I joined the Disability Union, the fees are incredibly reasonable and it’s just so, so good being part of something where I know everyone understands what I’m going through. I just cannot recommend joining enough.”
“Wonderful ppl very helpful :)”
“I am very happy with the union so far, I have completed 4 courses so far in as many months. I am visually impaired and it took a little getting used to navigating the site but no problems now all good. I would recommend you take notes on key information in the courses that may help you when you take the tests at the end of the course. Thank you Disability Union for this affordable platform.”
“Very helpful and enjoyed their Christmas fundraising fayre they put on.”
“I recommend people to join as they provide excellent service to their members.”
“Great organisation, very supportive with any questions I have had. Will continue to use!”
“Came to DU 2 years ago to get support with applying for PIP. From day one the support team were fantastic in helping with my application… Going through the mandatory reconsideration process and then the tribunal hearing. After 2 years, I finally was awarded the enhanced PIP rate. Thank you so much DU and especially Karla, Lauren and Fi for everything you have done for me. I couldn’t have gotten my PIP without you.”
“I needed my CV updating but had neither money, energy or focus at the moment to get it done but Lauren had it sorted for me in no time at all and did a great job, checking in with me along the way. These things are so important, practical help delivered competently, promptly and with kindness.”
“Karla is very supportive and she has been a real lifeline in the ongoing suspension from my job due to a disciplinary procedure that has lasted six months. Just giving me the space to talk has helped with reducing my stress levels.”
“Fantastic organisation always there to support their members at all times sign up if you can.”
